Jennifer & Kevin’s Wedding at Lascala Restaurant in Dublin, OH

April 2, 2016

I had the honor of DJing for Jennifer and Kevin at Lascala; a very cool venue featuring two elegant rooms for a reception.  The Venitian Room is ideal for a smaller crowd while the Caruso boasts more real estate for a much larger guest list.  I also had the distinct pleasure to work with Teresa & Kelsey of Leenabeephotography who happen to be sisters.  They interacted well with the guests and were at the ready with their cams to capture the evenings best memories.  Kudos to Teresa & Kelsey for the photos in my slideshow on the homepage.

When Jennifer and Kevin arrived at the reception site, I lined up and introduced the bridal party who entered to the song “Levels” by Avici.  Jennifer and Kevin expressed their fondness for one another by entering to “My Life Would Suck Without You” by Kelly Clarkson.  The bride and groom immediately transitioned to the dance floor to embrace for their first dance; “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat.  The bride’s father, Best Man and Maid of Honor then spoke and asked guests to raise their glasses to toast the beautiful couple.  Guests then enjoyed a fine Italian fare for which Lascala is famous for delivering while listening to the best of Vitamin String Quartet, Michael Buble and Jason Mraz.  Following dinner, we transitioned to parent dances.

Jennifer and her father Bryan danced to “Tale As Old As Time” by Beauty & The Beast while Kevin and his mother Melanie danced to “You’re The Inspiration” by Chicago.  Next, the bridal party crashed the dance floor to a thumping “Shut Up & Dance” by Walk the Moon.  Midway through the song, I invited all guests to join them and the dance floor immediately ignited.  Prior to bringing up the lights to signify the end of a great celebration, I invited Jennifer and Kevin to the center of the dance floor along with all their guests and bumped “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey.

Jennifer and Kevin, thank you for granting me the distinct honor to be your DJ and all my best in the years to come!
