It’s your day and rightfully so, you want all your friends close in age to have a great time dancing to the hits trending now, but don’t ignore your older guests who will be in attendance. Older guests tend to make their exit sooner, rather than later, so, while they are still present, accommodate them with music that will drive them to the dance floor. As a Columbus Ohio wedding dj, I can testify that the most successful wedding receptions are those in which an effort is made to accommodate all in attendance by playing music that will impact all generations. In the earlier stages of the evening, begin with some more dated selections and as the evening progresses, graduate to more current music. You will likely observe that your younger guests will respond and even appreciate dancing to older selections if the right selections are made. Mix in current music throughout the evening and reserve the last hour for the majority of the Hip Hop, R & B, etc……….

Jeff was absolutely wonderful! We had such a great time dancing at our reception. Jeff was a great announcer, very interactive, had great new and fun ideas (serenading a song instead of clinking glasses) and was able to keep the party going. I loved the new ways he got the whole crowd to participate and have fun. He also went above and beyond to help manage the ceremony as well by instructing everyone where to stand and when to walk. I was not expecting that much help, but he helped everything run smoothly. He was awesome at communicating with us throughout the reception and being flexible with the schedule. I had such a wonderful and positive experience and will definitely recommend to future brides! By far the best vendor I worked with for my wedding.
